About Success for Boys
Success for Boys provides you with a directory of programmes, resources, and information to help your school engage boys in learning.
The reference group
Success for Boys was developed with the support of the Boys' Educational Achievement Reference Group. This group led professional discussions about boys’ learning needs and provided advice on research and development activities to do with boys’ educational achievement.
A main aim of the group was to support effective practice and innovation in teaching boys.
Some member of this group were:
- Paul Baker, Rector, Waitaki Boys' High School, Oamaru, and past chair of the Association of Boys' Schools New Zealand
- Ian Baldwin, Principal, Southland Boys' High School
- Bill Hagan, Senior Lecturer, Manukau Institute of Technology.
